Description

Item is a printed booklet laying out the state and objectives of the St. Andrews and Quebec Rail Road Company, including relevant resolutions passed by the legislature of Upper Canada, names of committee members, and project goals. Appendices include reprints of supporting texts including articles in United Service Journal and the St Andrews Standard; letters from engineers and surveyors; schedules of projected expenses and revenues; and a petition to King William IV.

The pamphlet consists of forty-five pages, numbered three to thirteen in the body of the text and i to xxx in the appendices. As indicated by the title page, the pamphlet was printed at the office of the St. Andrews Standard on Water Street, St. Andrews.
