Description

Items are five handmade posters for dances at Roseland Hall, St. George. Two promote an Easter Ball on April 5, 1926, held by Squadron C of the New Brunswick Rifle Association, one illustrated with a dancing couple signed P. G. Tayte, and the other with an unsigned illustration of two dancing children. Another two advertise a Grand Ball fundraising event for the St. George Band, held April 23, 1926, with illustrations signed P. G. Tayte, one depicting an elegant dancing couple and the other a uniformed man playing a large drum. The last is an incomplete textual poster for the 1937 Easter Ball at Roseland Hall, put on by the St. George Fire Department, with text penciled in but only five letters outlined in ink.
