Item is 100-page bound booklet made for for the 9-day festival held in St. Stephen, NB and Calais, ME, which lists events and features articles on topics of local interest; poems and drawings from locals; greetings from American and Canadian politicians at local, state/provincial, and federal levels; and abundant advertisements for local businesses.

“Frontier Week” was a 9-day festival of events running from June 30, 1961 to July 8, 1961, celebrating the cross-border ties between St. Stephen, NB, and Calais, ME. Though a one-off, it served as the precursor to the International Homecoming Festival, which began in 1974.
